Your best friend tells you that she is pregnant and the first thing you want to do is throw the baby shower. She accepts and you start planning, but don’t make the mistake of spending too much. The baby shower host has a big job and a big bill between refreshments, entertainment, and, of course, your gift to the mother-to-be.

The Tray Game is a fun game that is a cheap way to cover two main components of your responsibilities at once, simply hand out a paper and a pen to each guest, place a few items that the new mother will need on a tray, bibs, diapers, a rattle, baby wipes, and a couple others—the more the better—, show the tray to all the guests for thirty seconds or so and hide them. Set a timer for about three to five minutes and have each guest write down as many things as they can remember as possible. Once the timer goes off check everyone’s list and the guest with the most items wins. This is fabulous entertainment and once it is all over you can give the items to your guest of honor as your baby gift.
