| When planning a baby shower that you're
expected to be attended by a lot of friends and family, picking
a game that everyone can participate in is difficult--but nonetheless
essential. One game that works well might be the Mother Goose Game.
This game introduces story telling to the future (or new) mom and
shares childhood traditions with all guests at the baby shower.
Here's how it goes. Choose several lines from different mother goose
stories and write them down. While writing them on a piece of paper,
omit one word from each nursery rhyme chosen. Supply each guest
with a pencil and paper. Read off the lines from the nursery rhymes.
The objective of the game is to have players guess the word left
out of the lines you provide. After each line from the nursery rhymes
are read, the player at the baby shower with the most words that
were omitted wins the game. This easy to play game is a great choice
for big baby showers who want to include everyone for this joyous
occasion. This game shares old stories that have been told forever
and sharing them with a new generation.
