way for your guests to get to know each other and maybe even learn
more about themselves. It is also great to use as an icebreaker
if many of your guests are not already acquainted. This game is
especially best to play when the mother-to-be has not decided on
a name for her baby yet. Each guest will take a turn telling her
first and middle names, what each name means; if they know, and
some history about whom they may have been named after or why they
received their names. Some guests will probably have interesting
or humorous stories about their names. Another twist on this game
would be to have a baby name book at the party for guests who may
not know what their name means. You may even learn some things about
your own name and help the mother-to-be to narrow down her favorites.
